The HTCC Student Research
Conference consists of many concurrent sessions, and we need volunteers to
facilitate each session. Facilitators will introduce the presenters, keep
track of time, invite the audience to ask questions after the
presentation, and moderate the discussion that follows |

You may apply for one of the HTCC scholarships

NB:
PowerPoint rarely improves a small-group lecture.
We
urge you not to use PowerPoint to
outline points; rather, use
PowerPoint only if you creatively
exploit its visual potential.
If
you plan to use a computer, you must bring your own laptop and projector! |

All HTCC Student Research Conference
activities will take place in the Conference Center that is part of the UCI Student Center. Please park in the Student Center Parking Structure (located on the corner of Pereira Dr. and West Peltason). Note that there is an $8 per vehicle
fee (for both this and ecological reasons, we highly recommend carpooling or using public transportation whenever possible). The Student Center is just across Pereira Dr. (building 113 in the red area near the top of this map). You will also see HTCC directional signs to the conference
venue from the parking area. |

of California, Irvine. To have your abstract considered for publication, consult this template and then e-mail your 250-word abstract to Tim Adell at adellt@vvc.edu by no later than March 26, 2010. |
